A musical evening with Eka

Thursday might be the middle of the workweek, but The Swinging Thursdays at Vapour, Gurgaon, are different. The club presented a performance by the Delhi-based rock fusion band Eka, in association with timescity.com, recently.
The band played not just rock music, but also hits like “Wake Up Sid”, “Duma Dum Mast Kalandar” and even “Sheila Ki Jawani”, albeit with a twist – “Sheila Ki Jawani” became “Benny Ki Jawani”! Benny is one of the band’s members.

We promise to make your Thursdays swing like never before, with many more bands lined up for the future,” said Vikram Rana of Vapour, who was there with his wife Priyanka. While people inside the club were dancing and headbanging to the band’s music, guests on the terrace were just chilling, smoking hookahs and enjoying the weather. Also there to enjoy the music was model Ritu Singh Budhraja, who came with her husband and friends. She celebrated her birthday there a day in advance, with close friends and family.
